A little about my design career...

I've worked at the corporate level for a major west coast retailer, supporting the advertising and communication efforts of over 500 stores (including collaborating with photographers and models/talent for special layouts and advertising supplements)

Created a variety of marketing materials, advertisements, communications, and programs for an East Bay community college

Supported the individual marketing/branding efforts of over 150 agents at a highly productive real estate company

Designed branding collateral in a design studio setting for a variety of industries, including insurance, hospitality, real estate, and retail
Awards & Accolades:
I’m grateful that I’ve won several awards during my career as a designer. The Photo Marketing Association of America (PMA) awarded Longs Drugs a $10,000 cash prize for an advertising circular I designed in the category of Mass Markets - Retail. Glamour Magazine bestowed Longs Drugs with a Glammy Award for another layout I created to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Outside of the retail sphere, I am the designer/winner of the Cover Art Design Contest for KFOG Radio’s Live from the Archives Volume 13, an annual design contest that attracted hundreds of design entries from around the Bay Area. Sales of the winning CD benefited Bay Area food banks each year. Additionally, My Wines Direct, formerly in Napa, California featured my wine label designs for their limited-edition chardonnay, zinfandel and merlot, which I named Red Bird. Most recently, Hallmark Cards (in conjunction with UNICEF) chose my greeting card design and interior verse as a finalist for their boxed holiday card design contest. The contest attracted hundreds (if not thousands) of entries, with only 11 designs making the final stage. I feel gratified to know my concept stood out amongst other great entries!
